Our Purpose: The Chamber is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of Jackson County, Florida, so that its citizens and its business community shall prosper and enjoy the benefits of livable communities, a healthy economy, and a high quality of living.
Our Mission: The Chamber shall seek to ensure the thriving economy through a program of relevant member services, active business advocacy, and effective government relations.
Our goal at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is to help our members grow, so our community can remain a fantastic place to live, work, and play. We offer a variety of programs that give our members the opportunity to get out and meet other new business owners as well seasoned business owners that offer a wealth of information on how to succeed.
First Friday Power Breakfast give all of our local businesses the chance to network with one another while learning about a new topic or meeting with government officials. On average 70+ local businesses are represented at the monthly power breakfast.
During our Power Breakfast we offer the Member Spotlight. This is an opportunity to showcase one of our small businesses for the month through various media sources. To become the spotlight member all you have to do is drop your business card into the drawing the business is chosen at random.
The Chamber of Commerce offers the Ambassador program; this program offers up and coming executives the opportunity to get involved with our new businesses, by helping to host our new business Grand Openings/ Ribbon Cuttings as well as be a part of the inner workings of fundraisers, business ventures etc.
Leadership Jackson County is a Chamber offered class that allows its students to learn about Jackson County past, present and future. More than half of the graduates of Leadership Jackson County have gone on to become top executives at local companies. All have achieved success in the business world.
